Gordon Williams
Gordon’s Swartland landscapes and vivid still-life paintings are a unique combination of Expressionism and Impressionism that exude raw energy and movement.
Working in his studio or outdoors, Gordon uses only black and white and the three process printing colours (magenta, cyan and yellow) to create his palette, with, at times, the addition of charcoal.

A self-taught artist, it was only in 2012 that Gordon devoted himself to painting full-time. He acknowledges the powerful impact that his high-school art teacher, Henry Symonds, had on his future career. He has had eight solo exhibitions and been included in a further eight group exhibitions, and his paintings hang in private collections across the world.
