THE SOLO SESSIONS
at PARTNER RESTAURANTS
The Riebeek Valley is home to a wide range of singers and instrumentalists who will be showcasing their diverse talents during Solo Sessions 2019. Join close-up encounters with the Riebeek Valley’s musical talent, performing solo or in small ensembles, each act presenting their compositions in intimate settings in and around Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West.
Expect exciting collaborations, where authentic musical performances are sure to add to the all-round ‘Arts Town’ experience that lies at the heart of the Riebeek Valley.
Our partner restaurants are selected due to their support of our performing artists, and in turn, we strongly recommend our visitors to support these restaurants. Look out for promotion of musical performances at some of these venues throughout the weekend.
ENTRANCE: Subject to restaurant table reservations.

EVE'S EATERY 022 448 1331
Bistro-style food cooked and served with love in a delightful, unpretentious, off-the-wall restaurant with the cosiest fireplace in the village. Quirky décor and a peaceful outdoor area. Seasonal chalkboard specials and à la carte menu.

THE ALCHEMIST 083 290 7990

Our food is always fresh, innovative and firmly grounded in the Italian-Mediterranean tradition. We serve it with lashings of soul and a great little wine list featuring wines from the valley and special selections from further afield.
No live entertainment, but a contribution is made towards supporting musicians.
RED TIN ROOF 082 535 6050
This is no ordinary restaurant. Mexican angels live here. So does a huge chairman Mao. It is a captivating place. It might be the local lamb vetkoek burger that gets you going. Or perhaps, it’s a biltong pizza, skilpadjie or bobotie samoosa. It's all about the smaak here.
Caroline Thord-Gray (Jazz vocalist) Saturday evening.
